How it works

Materials are estimated from grams and spool price. Add hourly machine costs for depreciation, maintenance and wear, then electricity use in kilowatt-hours. Failed prints and purging waste can be represented with an extra percentage.

Important limitations

The estimate is only as accurate as the input. A raw STL does not tell you infill, support usage, printing duration or purge waste. Use slicer output for accurate filament weight and time.
